A woman captured is an award-winning Hungarian documentary that follows the story of Marish,a 52-year-old woman who was a domestic slave for a decade. She worked as their server without getting any payment. The mere making of this documentary helps the woman realize about its situation and creating a plan for her escape.

Bernadett Tuza-Ritts explains how the filming process for this documentary was for her: “ You start to be more and more becoming increasingly interested in the protagonist and into the topic—, having access to more and more material., You try to figure it out. I can remember, every time I went there, I had something in my head like a new idea of what I wanted to get from shooting. And once that was done, I wanted to go back there again. At least one shot, why I wanted to go back again.”
