Carmen Meneses Falcón
Carmen Meneses Falcón is a professor at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE and she has been investigating gender issues during her whole career.
She comes to the festival to give a speech about the following topic: “Trafficking and sexual exploitation of women from a gender perspective”
Kailash Satyarthi
Kailash Satyarthy is an Indian child's rights activist.
He founded Bachpan Bachao Andolan, an NGO to help children who suffered from forced labour.
In 2014, he won the Nobel Peace Prize along with Malala Yousafzai, for their fight.
Pilar Kaltzada
Pilar Kaltzada gonzalez is the vicepresident of Save the Children, a well-known organisation that defends human rights for children.
As a journalist and writer, she has learnt about humanitarian issues and she states the following: "The suffering of girls and boys is not inevitable. Their dignity and happiness is the foundation on which I would like to build the future I desire".
Isidro Elezgarai
Isidro Elezgarai Esteban is the president of UNICEF Basque Comitee.
He has participated in social projects such as the constitution of Alde Voluntariado, the first comprehensive center for volunteering in the Basque Country.
Nasreen Sheikh
Nasreen Sheikh was born on the border of India and Nepal, where women are treated as slaves. She is a victim of child labour.
In 2016. she became an activist and created Local Women's Handicrafts focused on training for women looking for independence and self reliance.
